When searching, you can add special brackets around your query to get more specific results. Here are four ways you could search the same two words:
OPTION 1: recent hire
no bracket to search for similar words and in no particular order. finds documents that have all the above words in them, in any specific order, with similar spelling and not necessarily near each other.
- Recent hires
- Recently hired
- Recently worker hires
--
Option 2: "recent hire"
documents found will have all the above words in them in the same order, with similar spelling and not necessarily near each other.
--
Option 3: +recent hire+
documents found will have all the above words in the right order but not exact spelling.
--
Option 4: ++recent hire++
("++...++) sign before and after to search very precisely
documents found will have all the exact words, in the exact order, and with the exact same spelling.
Note: use shortcodes to enter your search terms faster. You can find a list of the shortcodes UPMONTH has in the more menu of the Control bar.
